Dear Readers,

Welcome to Winter Heat, the February issue of Oysters & Chocolate. We've had an intense winter here in Colorado with snowstorm upon snowstorm leaving us buried under a blanket of white and shivering in the crisp air. This means more time spent indoors with ourselves or our partners, hot toddys, hot baths, crackling fires, vibrating toys, heated massage oil, hot sex...oh! where are we again? Sorry, we were getting a little carried away.

Jordan has a dear friend who has been spending his winter in the hot desert sun of Iraq fighting a war that many of us do not understand. It's partly with soldiers like him in mind that we chose our winner of the O&C Erotic Winter Fiction Contest. We think you will be as impressed as we are with the beautiful musings of writer Anastasia Mavromatis in her winning story "Chilled".

This month's contest runner up Gwen Masters tugged at our heart strings as well and made one of our editors cry with her touching story "The Shadow of Matthew". If you read nothing else this issue, don't miss either of these amazing stories, both with custom illustrations by artist Karina Dale.

This month we also have a great variety of columns and articles, and as usual, the gallery is full of incredible images. We invite you to curl up with us and keep warm (and aroused) with Winter Heat.

xoxo
