Dear Readers,
Just as the weather warms into full spring this month, things at O&C are blossoming. The website was recently featured in our local community’s fabulous Women’s Magazine, which meant the co-creators, yours truly, had the wonderful opportunity of talking about our favorite thing – erotica and the private lives of women. The process of being interviewed and photographed was both thrilling and a little bit scary.
The morning before of photo shoot we found ourselves sitting side-by-side for a conference call with our web designers. We laughed at the picture we must have made: floral pajama pants with mismatched shirts, hair disheveled, faces unmade, laptops open on the sofa, coffee cups at hand. We knew that hours of primping lay before us to make us camera-ready for the magazine cover, and we giggled that a photo of the morning's phone call would have made for a much more accurate picture of the day-to-day workings behind O&C.
That’s right readers, we have little time to brush our hair, let alone get properly dressed, working day and night to bring the best erotica we can find to your computer. Erotica indeed has become a demanding mistress. The pace is quickening for the compilation of the O&C print anthology, and we’re always looking for ways to make the website more engaging.
The most recent change to O&C was a birthday gift for Miss Jordan from our ever-gracious web team: the implementation of the DISQUS commenting system. As many of you already know, you can create your own profile through DISQUS, track your comments, and make it your own with a personal image and other features. We hope you take advantage of the more sophisticated system and enjoy more involvement in O&C!
