Dear Readers,

As you know, we will be writing an assortment of articles for Denver's Examiner page now that we're the Denver Sex and Romance Examiners. With this month's Take Out question, we are asking for your help in our endeavor! We want to post ideas for people about what they can do to create an exciting, sexy and romantic date night at home.

What are some sexy/creative/romantic things to do with your partner at home? These can be things you've done, things you plan to do, or things you dream about doing. Post your ideas, and we'll publish them in an article for Denverites in December!

  Jordan and Samantha: Consider "HIgh Stakes Cribbage" (or any other game for two, like Scrabble, rummy, Uno, etc.) Each partner writes down on two face down index cards something s/he would like from the other should s/he win. It could be a hot oil massage or anal sex; being a slave for the night or a good spanking. Preferably something a little risky, so that its worth playing all out for in the game--and so your partner, who may anticipate your wish(es) may go all out so as not to let you best her/him. After the back and forth of the contest, with the game over, the loser then picks one of the winner's two desire cards. And should s/he feel s/he couldnt possibly perform the chosen wish, then s/he has the option of taking the second card, but s/he must perform that request, no matter what. PS there is always the option of throwing the game to see what your partner really wants--but it's a risk!

  A strip tease. Either one can do it but my boyfriends in the past have been so turned on I rarely got completely undressed before we were going at it hot and heavy. I tried setting a rule once that no hands were allowed but that didn't work tee hee. I also had one boyfriend who did it for me. That was hot as heck and I nearly raped him by the time he was completely undressed. After see Martha's idea you could also make it a game. Maybe slips in a box, draw one out, and who ever gets the red one has to do the strip tease. Whatever you do I'll guarantee that you're going to get laid!

  I know it's overdone occasionally, but I still love the coupon book. My last wife gave me one for my birthday that had all sexual things in it. Either partner can give the gift and the other can choose to redeem the coupons at his/her desire. You can even include a coupon where the recipient has to perform some sexual act. Whew! It can get really hot.

  A massage. My boyfriend spends many days on jobs doing all kinds of physical things and when he gets back hes tired and usually aches in most parts of his body. I have some hot oil I bought from the local adult store and layed him down on the bed, rubbed it ALL over him and, within a few minutes he wasn't tired anymore. Weird huh? When he massages me it only takes two or three minutes for us to be doing it but when I massage him it takes 15 or 20 minutes before we get into it. sometimes I want to be a man, maybe I'd get more out of it.

  That's not fair! A 3 minute massage? I think you need to set a timer and make him rub you down for the full 20 minutes - that will really build (and release) the tension.

  Diane is so full of BS! Just last Friday she came home from a business trip in which she visited seven cities in six days and was beat. Tired, tense, and bitchy as hell. I laid her down on the bed, undressed her, and started at her feet. Feet, calves, and thighs took me nearly fifteen minutes. I avoided what I really wanted to touch and moved to her arms, neck, shoulders, and back. Another fifteen minutes there and how did she repay my work? She fell asleep! No, a good massage does NOT guarantee that you’re going to get laid!

  After the hassle of packing, moving, and unpacking I finally got back on-line. I checked O&C and then your Denver Examiners site and – saw my name! I noticed that the four people that responded to your request were mentioned in your Denver article. It’s too bad that more people didn’t submit ideas and they, too, could have seen their name in the Denver Examiner.

  The one that seems to work for me is to buy a new piece of lingerie and on a totally random night when my husband is at work put it on right before he's due to get home. Then when he does come home I'm waiting there for him... usually perks up his spirits after a long night at work!
