What is the inspiration behind "A Welcome Threat"?

The development of this story was … odd, and went through various incarnations. But the inspiration, what made it come together, was the location - a place from my childhood that is very much like the abandoned community in the short. As a teenager, the consequences of trespassing were pretty minor, but more than half the fun of hanging out there was the fear.

What makes the character(s) in your story nice but naughty?

The characters are “nice” because they are inherently boring cogs. They are responsible people, good parents, and everything else that would make them dandy folks to meet at church on Sunday. They are naughty because … well, I guess you’ll have to read the story.

If you could have sex with any famous character, (fictional or not, living or not), who would it be and why?

That’s a tossup between Cleopatra and Helen of Troy… Probably Cleopatra though.

What does your mother think about your writing erotica?

She likes it. I thought it would be odd to have her read my work, but she was able to detach enough to read objectively… Or she lied to make me feel good. I mean, she is practical (evil) that way.
