Nice Girls, Naughty Sex

Contributor Interview: Talia Kelley
Serving Ms. Paden
by Talia Kelley
What is the inspiration behind "Serving Ms. Paden"?
I wrote “Serving Ms. Paden” for an elimination-style contest. Each week, contestants were
given subject matter and given the week to write an erotic short story based upon that theme.
For the week “Serving Ms. Paden” was written, the contestants were given the assignment of
writing a story about an employer and employee. I am proud to say, I won the contest.
What makes the character(s) in your story nice but naughty?
That’s a tough one. Claire is a spoiled brat and a tease. I suppose she’s nice looking…
Kevin is a nice guy, but he’s fed up with his boss' caustic tongue, but he really hates to leave
without teaching her a lesson about teasing, and that brings out the naughty in him.
If you could have sex with any famous character, (fictional or not, living or not), who would it be and why?
I’ve never been one to lust after celebrities, but there is one character that makes me
fantasize…just a little. Ares (Played by actor Kevin Smith) on the series “Xena: Warrior
Princess” makes me catch my breath. I know it’s the character because I’ve seen the actor in
other roles, and didn’t have the same reaction. Maybe it’s the bad boy thing, or maybe the sex-
with-a-god thing…or maybe it’s because he reminds me of my beloved. I try not to analyze it.
Ares the God of War played by Kevin SmithWhat does your mother think about your writing erotica?
I honestly don’t know. I’ve never “come out” to my parents, not because of any shame in
connection with my erotica, but because they are conservative (though it was my mother’s
reading material that turned on to the naughty side of writing), and I don’t want to embarrass
them. This is my little secret, so, to quote “Cabaret”… Don’t Tell Mama.
