Nice Girls, Naughty Sex

Contributor Interview: Julian Augustus Finisterre
Evelyn
by Julian Augustus Finisterre

What is the inspiration behind "Evelyn"?
Once upon a time, long ago, I knew a woman very much like the character...much more reticent, but just as curious. We spent long afternoons discussing such naughtiness, though discussion was really all either of us wished for...
What makes the character(s) in your story nice but naughty?
Evelyn has lived her life as she was "supposed to," but finds it to be not enough. She is not a woman to go off boldly, or thoughtlessly, but needs to trust and feel comfortable before she can begin her explorations. But once she has decided that this is what she wants to do...why, she's naughty as can be!
If you could have sex with any famous character, (fictional or not, living or not), who would it be and why?
Michelle Bachmann? Sarah Palin? One of those other horrible TP ladies? Just to see what it would be like...romping the mama grizzly. Shame on me...but she is kind of hot.

What does your mother think about your writing erotica?
Mother passed on back in '99, but she knew what I was up to, and it tickled her. In many ways my coming to terms with the idea of myself as a writer/artist has been a difficult one, and my mother intuitively knew, I think. But it is from her that my love of language, music and magic comes, and as well the appreciation for the natural world. I think she would at one and the same time be as proud of her boy as any mother might be, all the while shaking her dear old head... Thank you, Mother!
