A Movie Review of Gush

Part sex ed, part super hot porn, Gush is a movie unlike any other I’ve seen.

I must admit, when I signed up to watch and review the movie, I did so thinking it would be a short, “how-to” film composed of dry anatomical factoids and instructions on how to find and stimulate the g-spot.

However, the conversational, informative opening scene featuring Dr. Carol Queen and “radio host” Michelle Meow set the stage for a fun, fascinating 90 minutes. My attention was quickly captured by the knowledgeable, personable and adorable (am I allowed to use the word adorable when describing a professional sexologist?) Dr. Queen. And when the first ultra-cute lesbian couple (sporting Mohawks) came on screen, let’s just say, I really sat up to pay attention! (Now this is sex ed!)

From opening shot to ending shudder, the first sex scene is lovely, fluid (pun intended) and complete – as are each of the following sex scenes, featuring different people and different g-spot stimulating techniques.

Gush is split into segments that traverse from the radio studio, wherein Dr. Queen fields questions about the g-spot and female ejaculation (FE), to a variety of bedroom scenes populated with natural, beautiful women (and a couple of men) exploring the joys of g-spot “hunting,” as Dr. Queen calls it.

Each radio segment addresses one aspect of g-spot loving, and these include g-spot location, types of orgasms, types of techniques to inspire g-spot orgasms, the best dildos to use, the best positions to try, female ejaculation and more. Each sex scene then visually explores Dr. Queen’s advice.

My favorite things about this movie are the variety of the couples (and there’s one lovely solo gal) and the variety of sex styles in each of the sex scenes. There are sweet, tender moments and moves, spontaneous laughter, awe-inspiring squirting, and even a little choking. Completely focused on the female form and female pleasure, the scenes are authentic. And did I mention hot?

Other stand-outs in the film include the plethora of sex toys the actors use as well as safe sex tools, such as gloves and condoms. I must admit, I love the accompanying music as well.

I recommend this movie to any person interested in going g-spot hunting. As Dr. Queen says, finding and loving the g-spot is all about the journey, not the destination. Each scene, from the conversational exchanges to the sexy rendezvous, adds to the last scene, and underscores the idea that when it comes to the g-spot, and indeed, sex in general, it’s important to be comfortable, playful and exploratory. This film is an invaluable tool to help you along your journey.

Just have to watch it a couple more times and jot a few more g-spot hunting notes down, then I'll pass it over. ;)
