You are the Shadow, I am the Light

Like the light that bends in the corner of the room
I am on all fours, waiting on your breath
To plead my clothes away.

You are the shadow on the wall that closes towards me
Monstrously erect, thrown over the furniture
And plunging down, down, down to the tip where you contact me.

You are the shadow that
Bolsters the archway inside me,
Sliding each inch in
With a grunt, the man's way,
Trailing the frisson that shivers me
Trembles me, and flickers on the wall as the tangible sign
Of what's happening inside me.

We make light entwine
With its opposite
Only a few moments
Before our figures are flat on the bed.
Your hands are encircled by my curls
And the sweat that has reached the wall
Reflects two still figures now motionless in bliss
